Governor Jay Inslee has required a stay at home order for all residents of Washington state until May 4th. This applies specifically to non-essential businesses such as myself.
It is currently impossible for me to photograph any session without being in close proximity to my clients. The studio has been closed for a few weeks, and will continue to remain closed until we are given the approval to re-open by the state’s governor. All clients with current bookings will be rescheduled for the earliest openings available as soon as the studio is open.
I will continue to book clients based on availability for May 4th and beyond. But retainers and payments will NOT be accepted until then just in case the mandate is extended even further.
Once I am allowed to resume business as usual I will be following the guidelines for prevention and treatment by the CDC. This includes practices that have already been in place of cleaning and disinfecting all touched services areas after every portrait session (Props, furniture, etc.) as well as laundering all soft props after use (fabrics, wraps, gowns, etc.) hand washing and use of hand sanitizer throughout the session.
Rescheduling and Cancellations: it has always been my policy to reschedule your session due to illness. it is extremely important for the health and well-being of all those involved to be respectful of this policy. I am more than happy to reschedule your session for a time when everyone is healthy.
