Oh man, maternity leave was quite boring lol. I learned I like being busy with work even with a new baby to keep me busy. Instead of taking all of January off I took some sessions at the end of the month for a select few clients.
Amelia turned 2 months old in January. Her theme for her monthly shoot was “New Years,” December’s theme was “Christmas” of course. I wanted something bold & different so I went with black & gold. Each month will be a different theme/holiday for the month. Rare & popular holidays. Something different. I can’t wait to plan each month!
She was still a crier but thankfully not all day long anymore. We used to get a lot of questions if it was colic, but she didn’t cry for a few hours then stop. Amelia would cry practically all day long with random breaks. We still tried different techniques but nothing worked, we didn’t give up though!
Amelia also began to start figuring out how to smile. It’s so sweet!
