I worked with Janel almost 2 years ago so when she called me up to photograph her new foreign exchange student I of course said yes (even though I don’t really photograph Seniors anymore) because I couldn’t wait to chit chat with her. THEN she tells me she is also expecting her first baby this late winter/early Spring. Now I get to count down til that session!
Mateo here comes from Brazel and was quite new to this whole “Senior Portrait” thing. But he was a great sport and willing to do them even though in his town they aren’t really done for students. I just love meeting foreign exchange students and being able to hear all about what it’s like where they come from. My parents hosted a young man from Denmark 2 years ago and I just loved quizzing him about everything. Caused some laughs but I learned that when we go to Europe on vacation I want to see Denmark, a country I once never really knew about.
