Today I got to photograph 3 very photogenic sisters. All equally as beautiful, sweet, kind and funny. I never tire photographing them.
In this image I opened it up and immediately was floored by the closeness they all had without me even trying to get them to fake. The constant hugging, laughing, teasing, etc reminded me of my siblings. But the love, smiles and closeness made me think that this bond is something only sisters have. I have 3 brothers and we are kinda of close per se, but we can go weeks if not months without talking.
Recently one of my closest Aunt’s died unexpectedly and sadly I never got to tell her how much I admired the bond her and my mom and their other sisters have. So many memories from my life are filled with the 3 & 4 of them surrounding the kitchen island talking and laughing while cooking or just hanging out.
I am so glad that Carissa has so many special pictures of the girls together so when they grow older they always have something to look back upon. Even if you don’t print your pictures (which you should) having SOMETHING captured is definitely better than nothing. I have been working lately on making a conscious effort to print my little 4×6’s for my photo albums even if I don’t get artwork right now. I love catching my kids and niece curled up on the couch laughing while going thru the albums admiring their little faces.
